Iverson Monuments
Iverson Monuments began as Iversen Monuments in the early 40's. Art Iversen was the founder of the company. Art became acquainted with Jon Iverson in 1974 when Jon and his wife Jean became owners of the florist in town. A friendship formed based on Art's curiosity and desire to meet the new "Iverson" in town. It quickly became a stopping point for Art while on his morning walk on his way for coffee. Art and Jon conversed as if they were father and son. Within a short time Art disclosed his desire to retire and generously offered the business opportunity to Jon. In 1975 Iversen Monuments then became Iverson Monuments.
The business was located at the corner of Front Street and Jensen Way for several years. You will know it by the "Velkommen to Poulsbo" sign and the bright blue building. In 1993, Jon and Jean sold the florist and new tenants occupy the physical space. The business operates primarily from our home. Jon built upon the solid foundation that Art began, expanding the service area and clientele each year.
As a full-service, family owned business, we are proud of our record of personalized service and quality memorial products. With the passing of Jon in 2002, our business remains family owned and operated. His wife, Jean, and daughters, Kathy and Kim, remain committed to upholding the fine reputation of quality service at affordable prices.
We are large enough to serve your every need yet small enough and caring enough to make every monument a loving work of art. We are able to design and coordinate the production and installation of memorials almost anywhere.
